Dave and Alex’ wedding!

It was always part of my plan to attend David's wedding. It conveniently broke up my trip to allow a visit to mom and dad, and my siblings, nieces and nephews, and a several great nieces and nephews. All of my 8 Sibs were there, attesting to the closeness of my family. It was great to see everyone!

My niece Becky invited us all for tacos and beer the next day. AJ, Kateri and my new son-in-law were there as well allowing me to catch up with my own family as well.

 

It is heartening to see the next generation make their imprint building family and their lives and committing to love which in these times can seem so distant. Mom and Dad looked great and Mom was recovering well from her hip fracture. She was glowing.
